Welcome to Enriched Canine
At Enriched Canine, we believe true freedom comes from trust, communication, and reliable obedience—no matter the environment. Our training programs are designed to empower both dogs and their owners to enjoy life together with confidence, structure, and clarity.
Your dog isn’t just a pet—they’re part of your family. That’s why we focus on building real-world skills and creating lasting behavior change through personalized coaching and clear communication. Whether you’re out on a hike, walking through a busy neighborhood, or simply relaxing at home, our goal is to ensure your dog remains calm, focused, and eager to work with you.
We offer a variety of training services, including private lessons and immersive board-and-train programs—all tailored to your dog’s individual needs, your lifestyle, and your goals. Every dog is different, and your training plan should reflect that.
Don’t settle for obedience that only works at home, under perfect conditions, or when there's a treat in hand. At Enriched Canine, we help you create a relationship where your dog wants to listen—anywhere, anytime.
Because how you live with your dog matters. And how you tell your story together makes all the difference.
Meet Meghan Martin
Owner & Head Trainer – Enriched Canine Training
Meghan Martin is the owner and head trainer of Enriched Canine Training and has been professionally training dogs since 2016. With nearly a decade of hands-on experience, Meghan specializes in advanced obedience and behavior modification for fearful, reactive, and aggressive dogs. She has a sharp eye for canine body language and excels at coaching owners to communicate with their dogs clearly, confidently, and effectively.
Before launching her professional training career, Meghan spent her life immersed in animals. She grew up riding horses and went on to work for nine years as a veterinary technician. This medical background gives her a unique edge when addressing behavior—recognizing when underlying health issues may be contributing to training challenges, and crafting a more holistic, informed approach to each dog.
Meghan is also an active competitor in IGP, a rigorous three-phase dog sport that evaluates tracking, obedience, and protection. She currently competes with her personal Belgian Malinois, Melee, and incorporates the discipline, precision, and partnership required in sport work into every aspect of her training philosophy.
In addition to her work with pet owners, Meghan is deeply committed to rescue and shelter work. She frequently fosters, collaborates with local shelters and rescue organizations, and evaluates and trains behaviorally complex dogs to help prepare them for successful adoptions. She proudly volunteers with rescue groups and continues to support foster families with structure, education, and hands-on training guidance.
Outside of training, Meghan is a wife, mother to two energetic young boys, and a lifelong equestrian. She finds peace in nature and enjoys hiking with her personal dogs—Goose, Suki, Kallea, and Melee.
If you’re looking for a trainer who brings passion, expertise, and a deep commitment to helping dogs and their people succeed together, Meghan would love to connect.
